My name is Filo Tu-Faleupolu, and I am dedicated to providing high-quality Sāmoan bilingual educational materials. I carry the high-chief title of Togafau from my mother's village of Fogāsavai'i, on the beautiful island of Savai'i. My mission is to support educators in preserving language and culture whilst significantly reducing administrative workload through ready-to-use, trust-worthy curriculum resources.

Roots of Empowerment
Founded in the heart of Aotearoa, this initiative was born from a commitment to support Faiā'oga in the vital work of Sāmoan bilingual education. We recognized that while the passion for our gagana is immense, the time required to create high-quality, modern resources can be overwhelming. Togafau works to bridge the gaps within the system, by providing meticulously designed materials that align with the New Zealand Curriculum, changes to Structured Literacy and Numeracy, and the Ta'iala mo le Gagana Sāmoa. Our mission is to spark curiosity in every student while significantly reducing the administrative workload of teachers. By relying on our field-tested resources, educators can reclaim their time to focus on what matters most: nurturing the next generation of confident learners.
